Connacht suffered a devastating blow In March of 2010. Lady Kristabel Silverhand sister to the Gabriele Silverhand, died in her sleep at the age of 39. Kristabel was one of the longest and staunchest supporters of Connacht. She supported us on our trip down to Alhambra to check out the Adrian Empire. Following our report she and her family joined the Empire and laboured tirelessly as a minister for Silvervale when we were a canton of Alhambra. She was responsible for all the money raised through the Fudge auctions for Alhambra and then later Connacht. She is the lady notorious for the Sweet Pumpkin Fudge, Candy Cane Fudge, Black Forest, and even the Canada Fudge. Some of her Fudge went at Auction for nearly $150 a pound, and bidding was pretty fierce. Even when she couldn’t come to an event she would ship fudge down for auctions and take no money in return for costs at all. She was dubbed Vunder-Auntie by many of our members here in Connacht. Bear in mind that she lived several days drive north of our main population base and you begin to see the extent of her dedication to the people of Connacht. For her continued support of Connacht she was inducted into the Order of the Sword of Connacht as its Premier member last week at our Neverwinter Tourney. Our condolences go out to her husband Chris of Silvervale and her daughter Beth Silverhand. Rest in peace dear Kristi for you will be sorely missed by all.
